ChromiumBuilds

Chromium for Linux

On Linux your distribution almost certainly packages Chromium already, and that copy updates with the rest of your system. The portable builds below are for cases where you want a newer version, an ungoogled build, or CPU-specific optimisation.

Checked automatically Aug 29, 2026. Latest Chromium stable is 152.0.7977.64.

Not sure? Thorium 152.0.7977.55 is the safest default for most Linux users. Jump to it, or read how the builds differ.

Linux 64-bit (x86-64)

Linux ARM64

For 64-bit ARM machines such as the Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 running a 64-bit OS.

Linux 32-bit (x86)

32-bit builds, for older hardware only.

Install from your distribution instead

A packaged Chromium updates automatically with your system, which is the single best reason to prefer it. See Chromium versions across 40 distributions.

Keeping it updated

None of these builds update themselves. Chromium ships security fixes roughly every two weeks, so a build more than a month old is genuinely worth replacing. See how to update Chromium, or subscribe to the release feed.
